Systems Administrator (Remote – India)

About the role

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to manage and secure the IT infrastructure of a fast‑growing professional‑services firm in India. The role is remote‑friendly and supports multiple office locations across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux servers, including virtualization platforms and backup solutions.
• Manage Active Directory, identity lifecycle, and access provisioning for employees and contractors.
• Plan, execute, and document patching, upgrades, and capacity changes while ensuring minimal downtime.
• Implement and monitor security controls across servers and endpoints to meet compliance requirements.
• Maintain disaster‑recovery and backup procedures, performing regular testing and documentation for audits.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of hands‑on experience administering enterprise servers and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and backup/DR practices.
• Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote‑work setup.
