Systems Administrator (Remote – India)

About the role

We are a professional‑services firm expanding its India centre and need a Systems Administrator to keep our IT infrastructure secure, reliable, and compliant. You will manage servers, directory services, and critical business systems while supporting a distributed, remote workforce across India.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and backup solutions.
• Manage Active Directory, identity lifecycle, and access provisioning.
• Plan and execute patching, upgrades, capacity changes, and performance tuning.
• Implement and monitor security controls on servers and endpoints.
• Maintain compliance documentation for internal and client audits.
• Own disaster‑recovery and backup procedures, testing them regularly.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of hands‑on experience administering enterprise servers and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
• Experience with Active Directory, virtualization, and backup/DR practices.
• Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote‑work setup.
