System Integration Engineer – Scanning Electron Microscope

About the role

As a System Integration Engineer you will receive fully assembled Scanning Electron Microscopes and be responsible for calibrating, testing and qualifying these highly complex multi‑disciplinary systems in a clean‑room environment. The role involves end‑to‑end integration, troubleshooting, and delivering the instruments ready for shipment to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to meet system specifications, on‑time delivery and operational KPIs.
• Perform complex functional tests, calibrations and verification of sub‑assemblies and full systems.
• Troubleshoot individual modules and integrate them into a complete SEM, including in‑house customer acceptance testing.
• Travel to the Applied Materials PDC Israel site for installation and support of tools.
• Document procedures, pursue safety and process improvements, and identify and resolve problems individually or as a team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant technical experience, preferably in system integration or high‑complexity equipment.
• Willingness to travel 10–30 % of the time and work onsite five days a week (Saturday and Sunday required).

Required skills

• System integration of semiconductor equipment.
• Calibration and troubleshooting of electron‑beam, optics, laser and motion control modules.
• Development and execution of test procedures.
• Application of lean manufacturing, automation and continuous‑improvement principles.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering concepts.
