System Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled System Engineer to join our IT Support team. In this role you will maintain, support and improve the organisation’s IT infrastructure, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and available for daily business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Manage Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Group Policies and user administration.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Support endpoint management using Microsoft Intune or similar platforms.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware, OS, software and network issues.
• Configure and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Manage backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
• Support LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP and firewall infrastructure.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in system administration, infrastructure support or IT operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD and endpoint management tools.

• ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
