System Administrator – Windows & Linux (Bengaluru)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive System Administrator to manage and support our Windows and Linux server environments, network infrastructure, and related IT services. The role focuses on ensuring system stability, security, and performance while delivering Level 3 technical support to internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux systems.
• Monitor server health, performance metrics and network availability.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and file‑sharing services.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and user accounts.
• Configure and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Perform regular updates, patches, backups and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
• Manage firewalls, VPNs, antivirus, endpoint security and access controls.
• Document procedures, SOPs and maintain asset inventories.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement and support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 1+ years of experience as a System Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, CompTIA, CCNA, ITIL) are a plus.

• Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration.

• PowerShell, Bash or Python scripting.
• Networking concepts: TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, routing, switching.
