System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimise our IT infrastructure. The role ensures reliability, security and performance of servers, networks and enterprise applications while providing technical support to internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Monitor system performance, availability and security across the infrastructure.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP and user access controls.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management and routine maintenance.
• Configure and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and organisational policies.
• Manage cloud environments on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Investigate and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures and operational processes.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure and application teams to ensure system reliability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end‑users and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
