System Administrator – Fully Remote

About the role

We are looking for a skilled System Administrator to join a leading US multinational enterprise software company. This fully remote position offers the chance to work on large‑scale, mission‑critical infrastructure that supports global business operations and digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments.
• Monitor performance, capacity, availability, and security of systems.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, file services, and identity management.
• Perform patching, upgrades, backups, disaster‑recovery, and routine maintenance.
• Provision and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot server, OS, network, storage, and infrastructure issues.
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, or Proxmox.
• Collaborate with cloud, network, security, and application teams.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar scripting languages.
• Maintain documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.
• Participate in upgrades, migrations, incident response, and on‑call support as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System or Infrastructure Administrator.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Proven ability to manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, Proxmox).
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, routing, switching).
• Familiarity with backup, recovery, monitoring, and system management tools.
• Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
