System Administrator – Fully Remote

About the role

We are seeking a proactive System Administrator to join a global enterprise software product company. The role is fully remote and supports mission-critical infrastructure across Windows, Linux and cloud environments. You will work closely with distributed engineering, security and DevOps teams to ensure reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows, Linux and cloud‑based infrastructure.
• Manage servers, operating systems, user accounts, permissions and enterprise applications.
• Monitor system performance, availability and capacity, performing upgrades, patching and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, server, network and application issues.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies and identity management.
• Support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, cloud and DevOps teams to maintain secure, reliable environments.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and document configurations, procedures and technical standards.
• Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis and problem management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Administrator, Infrastructure Administrator or Systems Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
• Proven experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Strong understanding of server, networking fundamentals and infrastructure management.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Knowledge of security best practices, patch management and system hardening.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in remote, distributed teams.
