About the role
We are looking for a Swimming Pool Helper to provide general support and maintain cleanliness across our school facilities, including the pool area. The role contributes directly to a safe and healthy environment for students, staff and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties to keep the swimming pool and surrounding areas spotless.
- Maintain hygiene standards throughout classrooms, offices, restrooms and common spaces.
- Monitor and report on cleaning supplies and equipment levels.
- Collaborate with school staff to address specific cleaning needs promptly.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in cleaning or janitorial roles.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and operate cleaning equipment safely.
- Commitment to safeguarding children and adhering to health and safety policies.
- Respect for diversity, equity and inclusion principles.
Required skills
- Strong cleaning and organisational abilities.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Knowledge of cleaning best practices and proper use of equipment.
