Support Operations – HMC Machine Operator

About the role

This position is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining Horizontal Machining Centre (HMC) equipment to produce dies, components, and precision parts. The role ensures production targets are met while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and maintain Horizontal Machining Centre (HMC) machines to produce dies, components and precision parts according to drawings and quality standards.
• Meet production targets while ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures and machine care.
• Monitor and report safety metrics, aiming for zero fatal accidents, accident frequency rate below 0.25 and severity rate under 100.
• Identify near‑misses and abnormalities, initiate corrective actions within 7 days, and ensure investigations are completed within 48 hours.
• Conduct monthly risk reviews and guarantee 100 % safety training for new employees before assigning responsibilities.

Required profile

• Experience operating CNC or similar machining equipment, preferably HMC machines.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and precision manufacturing processes.
• Commitment to safety and ability to follow detailed safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently on the shop floor and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams.
