Supply Chain Specialist, Global Procurement Launch and Expansion

About the role

As a Supply Chain Specialist in Global Procurement, you will own the management and coordination of procurement tasks to ensure timely delivery of goods and services for new site launches in a region, supporting the India launch program. You will monitor project progress, identify risks, and work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate procurement tasks and dependencies to guarantee on‑time delivery of critical goods and services for new site launches.
• Track and report project progress, proactively identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans.
• Monitor purchase order status and collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely equipment delivery.
• Partner with Category Managers to standardize ordering and escalation processes across EU launches.
• Provide guidance, coaching and technical support to internal customers on best‑practice procurement processes.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with Start‑Up and Launch teams, ensuring effective communication.
• Lead the establishment of standard procurement procedures for new sites and streamline existing processes.
• Manage supplier relationships, including inventory management, risk assessment and long‑term supply‑chain strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain roles within a procurement organization.
• Proven experience in vendor management and handling multiple supplier relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective vendor engagement.
• Ability to manage complex procurement projects and meet deadlines.
