Supply Chain Planner

About the role

The Supply Chain Planner will lead demand planning and inventory optimization across a multi‑echelon network, ensuring high service levels while controlling costs. You will work closely with suppliers, product lifecycle managers and internal teams to balance material flow and mitigate excess or shortages.

Key responsibilities

• Manage demand planning using a variety of forecasting methods throughout the product lifecycle.
• Analyze demand trends, forecast accuracy and root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Determine stocking requirements for a multi‑echelon network to meet service targets while minimizing inventory carrying costs.
• Apply multi‑echelon inventory optimization methodology to make inventory decisions.
• Monitor excess and obsolescence trends and take actions to reduce cost impact.
• Optimize sourcing plans, balancing repair versus new purchases.
• Coordinate lifecycle events such as NPI and Last Time Buy with PLM and suppliers.
• Support continuous process improvement and automation through data analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, mathematics, engineering or a related field.
• 6‑10 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting or a strongly analytical role.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritize critical work.
