Supply Chain & Inventory Analytics Data Analyst

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Data Analyst focused on Supply Chain and Inventory Analytics. The role involves using SQL and Databricks to extract, transform and analyse large data sets, providing insights that improve material availability and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze inventory, demand and order‑fulfilment data to identify trends, shortages and supply‑chain risks.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports and dashboards in Databricks to monitor inventory health and operational KPIs.
• Support MRP execution analysis, validate master scheduling, and monitor material shortage commitments.
• Partner with Procurement, Planning and Operations to expedite critical materials and resolve supply constraints.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of experience in supply‑chain or inventory analytics.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to translate large data sets into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• SQL (query writing, transformation, reporting).
• Databricks platform for large‑scale data processing.
• Data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau (preferred).
• Understanding of supply‑chain, inventory, planning and fulfilment data structures.
