Supply Chain Engineer – Materials Planning

About the role
This position is responsible for planning and tracking raw material and traded parts on a weekly basis to avoid shortages or excess inventory. The engineer works closely with customer support to capture demand requirements and maintains regular communication with overseas suppliers to ensure a smooth supply chain.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and monitor weekly material requirements, preventing stock outs and overstock situations.
- Collaborate with customer support teams to understand and translate demand signals.
- Communicate regularly with overseas suppliers to secure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with logistics to guarantee material availability at the right time and place.
- Utilize SAP or other ERP systems for day‑to‑day material tracking and reporting.
Required profile
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
