Supply & Capacity Planner

About the role

The Supply & Capacity Planner will be responsible for integrating customer delivery requirements into manufacturing plans for the Ethicon facility in Aurangabad. This role ensures that production schedules are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the planning and preparation of production schedules for manufacturing at Ethicon Aurangabad.
• Develop and implement production planning policies, standards, guidelines, technology, and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with company safety and planning policies.
• Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to determine material, personnel, and tooling requirements.
• Expedite operations to address delays or unforeseen conditions and keep schedules on track.
• Provide a closed‑loop connection between sales demand, manufacturing capacity, and revenue plans.
• Prepare and submit production planning reports to management and propose solutions for potential production issues.
• Review customer order records, monitor back‑order situations, and support new product launch forecasting.
• Coordinate with regional planning, India supply‑chain, and production teams to optimize production levels.
• Plan raw material and packaging material requirements based on forecasts and desired stock levels.

Required profile

• Ability to manage and supervise production schedule planning processes.
• Capability to develop and enforce production planning policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements related to safety and company planning policies.
• Skill in analyzing capacity data and performing calculations for material, personnel, and tooling needs.
