Supplier Account Management – Integration

About the role

The NPI Materials Project Management (MPM) team is responsible for sourcing newly designed products, setting cost‑reduction strategies, ensuring supply continuity and making sourcing decisions for advanced semiconductor and display technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and manage RFQs, lead‑time and cost‑estimation requests from internal stakeholders.
• Utilize the supplier matrix to obtain quotes, negotiate terms and award business.
• Drive dual‑sourcing strategies to ensure supply continuity and mitigate long‑lead‑time risks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define sourcing plans for new‑product introduction (NPI) and pilot projects.
• Qualify supplier parts against inspection requirements for critical components.
• Analyze multi‑level BOMs, interpret drawings and special process specifications, and communicate requirements to suppliers.
• Identify make‑vs‑buy opportunities and align decisions with key stakeholders.
• Perform regular cost roll‑ups, compare quoted costs to targets and present corrective actions to program executives.
• Develop supplier selection processes for piece parts and outsourced modules, assessing supply‑chain risks.
• Support smooth transition of products from NPI to volume manufacturing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum six years of experience in sourcing, program management and supplier management.
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical, electrical or electronics commodities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP MM module.
• Experience with cost‑modeling, markup and margin analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret multi‑level BOMs and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with 3D‑modelling and PLM software.
