Subject Matter Expert – IBM QRadar (Immediate Joiner)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert in IBM QRadar SIEM to join our mission‑critical SOC in Mumbai. The role involves overseeing UAT and production environments, ensuring continuous monitoring, incident response, and compliance with financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform continuous monitoring of SIEM‑DAM platforms across data‑center and disaster‑recovery sites.
• Integrate and manage SIEM, SOAR, XDR, IDS/IPS, UEBA, and threat‑intel platforms.
• Lead L3 incident triage, containment, eradication, recovery and root‑cause analysis.
• Coordinate with regulators such as SEBI, CERT‑In, and RBI and produce required incident reports.
• Drive SOC tool optimization, dashboard creation, and automation using ML‑based anomaly detection and custom scripts.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI CSCRF, CERT‑In Guidelines, DPDPA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and support audits.
• Build and maintain a Cyber Threat Intelligence function and conduct proactive threat hunting.
• Create SOC SOPs, playbooks, and track maturity roadmap using NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with IBM QRadar SIEM.
• Deep understanding of SOC operations, threat intelligence, and cyber defence.
• Experience in BFSI or financial‑market cyber environments.
• Knowledge of relevant compliance standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell preferred).
