Subject Matter Expert – Billing & Collections

About the role

Enovis is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to bridge clinical documentation and revenue cycle operations. You will ensure accurate record review, coding support, charge capture validation, and payer compliance, helping to optimize reimbursement and improve cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records for completeness, accuracy, and payer compliance.
• Identify documentation gaps affecting coding and reimbursement.
• Support Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) initiatives and educate providers on best practices.
• Analyze claims for documentation‑related denials and underpayments.
• Resolve clinical, medical‑necessity, and authorization denials; prepare appeals with supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with coders to ensure accurate ICD coding and charge capture.
• Mentor junior associates and contribute to process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of revenue cycle management and US healthcare regulations.
• Experience resolving claim issues, reducing outstanding AR, and improving cash flow.
• Ability to work collaboratively with providers, coders, billing teams, and payers.
