About the role

The Study Abroad Advisor will work on‑site in Hyderabad, providing personalized counseling to prospective students and their families. The role focuses on matching students with suitable international study destinations, programs, and institutions while guiding them through the entire admission and visa process.

Key responsibilities

• Offer individualized counseling on study destinations, programs, and institutions based on academic background, career goals, and budget.
• Guide students through application, admission, and documentation procedures.
• Provide detailed support for visa filing, interview preparation, and related procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of partner institutions and international education trends.
• Participate in seminars, exhibitions, and counseling events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high‑quality student services.
• Maintain accurate records and follow organizational protocols.
• Support pre‑departure orientation to ensure a smooth transition for students.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, business, or a related field; advanced qualifications in counseling or international education are a plus.
• Prior experience in study‑abroad advising, student services, or education consultancy, preferably in an on‑site office environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Working knowledge of visa procedures and documentation.
• Comfort with public speaking and participation in seminars and exhibitions.
• Cultural awareness, ethical practice, and a student‑centered approach.
