Structural Designer

About the role

Phensa Engineering is looking for a motivated Structural Designer to join its engineering team. You will prepare, detail, and review structural drawings for diverse projects while guiding junior designers and supporting senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Create, detail, and review structural drawings using AutoCAD.
• Provide guidance to junior designers on design and drafting tasks.
• Support senior engineers in design and drafting activities.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and class regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams on offshore, marine, and oil & gas structures.

Required profile

• Diploma or B‑Tech in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in structural design.
• Strong knowledge of class rules, regulations, and international standards.
• Expertise in steel and aluminum structures, including detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced drafting techniques.
• Experience with 3D CAD modelling software is an advantage.
• Exposure to offshore, marine, or oil & gas industries preferred.
