Stores Assistant

About the role

The Stores Assistant will support day‑to‑day stores and inventory activities, ensuring smooth material flow and accurate record‑keeping. This role involves handling receiving, verification, storage, labeling, issue and return of materials while maintaining traceability.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day stores and inventory activities including material receiving, verification, storage, identification, labeling, issue and return.
• Maintain proper stock records, bin locations and material traceability.
• Coordinate with SCM, QA and end users for material and documentation requirements.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, 5S and safe storage practices.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI/Graduate with 1–3 years of experience in stores, warehouse or inventory management.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, stock verification, FIFO/FEFO and material documentation.
• Experience in aerospace, aviation, automobile or manufacturing industries is an added advantage.
• Good communication, documentation and coordination skills.
