Storekeeper (Hotel)

About the role

We are looking for a Storekeeper to support the Assistant Manager – Purchase in maintaining optimal stock levels for our hotel. The role involves ensuring proper storage conditions, managing documentation, and complying with HACCP standards to guarantee safe and efficient supply of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Manager – Purchase in monitoring and replenishing inventory to meet hotel needs.
• Ensure all goods are stored at correct temperatures, respect shelf‑life, and are recorded accurately.
• Control the issuance of items against requisitions, securing required signatures and documentation.
• Maintain HACCP procedures and keep clear records of food safety compliance.
• Coordinate with all hotel departments to facilitate smooth material flow and support operational effectiveness.
• Identify slow‑moving or excess stock, recommend inventory levels, and work with Finance to approve purchases.
• Secure storeroom areas, prevent unauthorized access, and manage loss, spoilage, or pilferage incidents.
• Perform regular stock checks, discard expired items, and keep up‑to‑date records of receipts, issues, and rejected goods.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• 0–2 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations or inventory control.
• Understanding of inventory management principles, stock‑control procedures and HACCP standards.
• Experience using inventory management software.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
