Store Keeper

About the role

The Store Keeper is responsible for efficiently managing the receipt, storage, identification, issuance, and movement of materials. This role ensures accurate inventory records and smooth coordination with internal departments and SEZ authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, specifications, and supporting documents.
• Inspect materials for visible damage or discrepancies and report issues.
• Coordinate with SEZ security/gate team for material entry and exit formalities, ensuring required documents and approvals are in place.
• Arrange and store materials systematically, optimizing storage space and maintaining housekeeping.
• Tag and identify materials with item codes, descriptions, and quantities for easy traceability.
• Issue materials against authorized requisitions, maintaining accurate issuance records.
• Reconcile physical stock with system records, reporting discrepancies, shortages, or excess quantities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date stores log books and material movement records.

Required profile

• Attention to detail for accurate verification and record‑keeping.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal teams and external SEZ authorities.
• Organizational skills to manage systematic storage and housekeeping.
• Experience in handling material receipts, stocking, tagging, issuance, and stock reconciliation.
