Store Assistant

About the role

The Store Assistant works full‑time on‑site in Vapi, supporting daily store operations and ensuring a welcoming, helpful experience for every customer. You will greet shoppers, answer basic queries and guide them toward products that meet their needs while maintaining a tidy, well‑stocked environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, handling inquiries and directing them to suitable products.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize shelves and displays, and ensure items are correctly labeled.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory checks and restocking as needed.
• Process sales transactions using the point‑of‑sale system and handle cash responsibly.
• Support product demonstrations or training sessions and collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills for clear, professional interaction with customers and teammates.
• Customer‑service orientation and retail sales experience, or a willingness to learn.
• Organizational ability to keep merchandise orderly and support smooth store operations.
• Basic math proficiency and comfort handling cash or POS systems.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform light lifting of stock.
• Reliability, attention to detail and a readiness to follow store policies.
