Store Assistant

About the role

The Store Assistant will manage daily warehouse, store, logistics and dispatch activities at Edwards' Pune facility. You will ensure safe handling of materials, accurate inventory records and timely order fulfillment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform packing, loading, unloading and material handling safely and efficiently.
• Receive imported materials, verify quantities and documents, and store them correctly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and process all transactions in SAP.
• Prepare customer orders for dispatch, generate invoices, delivery challans, packing lists and e‑Way Bills.
• Coordinate with transporters, couriers and freight forwarders to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Track shipments, provide status updates and resolve any dispatch issues.
• Conduct quarterly physical stock verification, cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Uphold FIFO practices, proper labeling, 5S standards and EHS guidelines.
• Support repacking, relabeling and segregation of damaged or non‑conforming items.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse management.
• Good knowledge of commercial transactions and Order‑to‑Cash processes.
• Fluent in English and the local language, with strong listening and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in SAP (ERP) for inventory and order processing.
