Steward / Guest Service Associate – Corporate Cafeteria (Chennai)

About the role

We are expanding our service brigade at a corporate cafeteria in Chennai. The Steward / Guest Service Associate (GSA) will greet employees, manage food counters, and ensure a clean, efficient dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up cutlery, plates, napkins and counter items before service.
• Serve food at live counters, maintaining portion control and speed during peak hours.
• Clear tables, manage tray return racks and keep the dining hall spotless.
• Assist guests with digital scanner or coupon issues.
• Refill stock of plates, spoons, tissues and maintain uniform standards.
• Coordinate with the supervisor and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Hotel Management Diploma, Catering Certificate, or relevant practical experience.
• Ability to communicate in basic English or Tamil.
• Strong personal hygiene and grooming standards.
• Willingness to work stable corporate shifts and handle high‑volume lunch rushes.

Required skills

• Basic English or Tamil communication.
• Ability to operate digital scanning/coupon tools.
