Steward – Full‑time Dining & Kitchen Support

About the role

The Steward at Vikram’s Kitchen ensures a clean, organized, and efficient dining and kitchen environment. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Nagpur, requiring flexible availability during peak service hours and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and clear tables for service.
• Assist with serving food and beverages to guests.
• Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation and cleaning tasks.
• Maintain hygiene standards throughout the dining and kitchen areas.
• Manage dishwashing, utensil cleaning, and related equipment.
• Help track inventory of service items and report shortages.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a friendly, helpful approach.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with kitchen and service teams.
• Basic knowledge of food‑and‑beverage operations and service standards.
• Willingness to undergo training on hygiene, safety, and service protocols.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light to moderate loads, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to cleanliness, detail, and adherence to food‑safety regulations.
• Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is an advantage; basic education and ability to follow instructions are required.
