About the role

Poetry by Love and Cheesecake is seeking a dedicated Steward to join its Mumbai café team. This full‑time, on‑site position involves supporting the dining area to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

Set up and clear tables efficiently for each service period.
Assist servers with food and beverage delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the dining area.
Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate service flow.
Adhere to all restaurant safety, hygiene, and food‑handling protocols.

Required profile

Strong customer service and communication abilities.
Experience in food & beverage handling and basic food safety knowledge.
Willingness to support training of new team members.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is an advantage.
Must be based in Mumbai.

Required skills

Proficiency in standard food service tasks such as table setting, order assistance, and dining area upkeep.
