Steward / Captain

About the role

The Steward / Captain position is an on‑site role in Gurgaon, responsible for delivering a refined dining experience. You will act as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth service flow from greeting to bill.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus, and take orders accurately.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to guarantee timely and correct food delivery.
• Set up and clear tables, maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
• Manage table reservations and oversee service flow during peak periods.
• Support and guide junior team members, ensuring adherence to company service standards.
• Address guest queries or concerns courteously and efficiently.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Prior experience in restaurants, hotels, or similar hospitality settings is preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work on‑site in Gurgaon and collaborate in a fast‑paced team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food & beverage operations and service protocols.
• Familiarity with menu items and hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Capability to train and support junior staff in service delivery.
