Staff Registered Nurse

About the role

The Staff Registered Nurse will join ASCENT ENT HOSPITAL in Perinthalmanna, providing direct patient care in both inpatient and outpatient ENT settings. This full‑time, on‑site position involves preparing patients for procedures, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and supporting physicians during examinations and surgeries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for ENT procedures and surgeries.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Record vital signs, clinical observations, and maintain accurate electronic health records.
• Assist physicians during examinations, diagnostic tests, and surgical interventions.
• Implement infection‑control and safety protocols throughout the unit.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, postoperative instructions, and follow‑up requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient flow and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible to practice in the jurisdiction.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Clinical experience in patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and postoperative monitoring, preferably in ENT or surgical units.
• Knowledge of infection‑control practices and hospital safety protocols.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
