About the role

Key responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medication and monitor patient responses.
• Provide nursing care in line with clinical practice standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals for coordinated patient care.
• Participate in quality‑improvement programs and infection‑control initiatives.
• Conduct initial and periodic patient assessments within defined time frames.
• Maintain daily inventory of medicines and equipment.
• Deliver pre‑ and post‑operative care according to protocols.
• Offer health education to patients and families.
• Supervise IV class staff in bedside care, waste management, and routine tasks.
• Prioritise emergency cases and ensure timely coordination with consultants.
• Maintain accurate departmental documentation and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery or B.Sc. Nursing.
• Adherence to the specified dress code and hospital ID badge policy.
• Willingness to work shifts as per scheduled requirements.
