Staff Nurse – Preventive Health Screening

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our preventive health screening centre in Chennai. The role involves direct patient care, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, height, weight, pulse, and temperature.
• Perform and monitor electrocardiogram (ECG) procedures.
• Assist doctors during colposcopy and other clinical procedures.
• Prepare patient medical memos, reports, and other documentation accurately.
• Prepare patients before health screening procedures.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff for smooth patient flow.
• Maintain and update patient records as per organisational protocols.
• Ensure all medical equipment is clean, maintained, and ready for use.

Required profile

• GNM or B.Sc. Nursing qualification.
• Valid Nursing Council registration.
• 1–3 years of experience in a hospital, diagnostic centre, or health screening centre (preferred).
• Experience in BP monitoring, ECG, and assisting clinical procedures (preferred).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
