Staff Nurse – Patient Care Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our clinical team at a leading Indian hospital. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history, symptoms, and maintain patient documentation.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and respond to changes promptly.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure bedside care standards.
• Operate and care for medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a nursing qualification (GNM, BSc Nursing or M.Sc Nursing).
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to coordinate and cooperate effectively.
• Initiative, moral support, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Basic computer literacy.

• Computer literacy for documentation and hospital information systems.
• Operation of medical equipment used in patient care.
