Staff Nurse – Patient Care Specialist

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care, monitoring patient health, and supporting families throughout the treatment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history, symptoms, and maintain accurate patient charts.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor vital signs, observe patient progress, and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Provide bedside care, education, and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Operate and maintain medical devices and equipment safely.

Required profile

• Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing, or MSc Nursing.
• Academic record of 1st division in 10th, 12th, and nursing qualification.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Initiative, moral support, and a patient‑centred attitude.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Operating and caring for medical equipment.
• Performing point‑of‑care diagnostic tests.
