Staff Nurse – Patient Care

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care, supporting patients and families, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with doctors and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes promptly.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure bedside care standards.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a nursing qualification (GNM, BSc Nursing or M.Sc Nursing).
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate care.
• Initiative, moral support, and a patient‑centered approach.
• Basic computer literacy.
