Staff Nurse – Patient Care

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients across various departments, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medication and treatment as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and respond to changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Deliver bedside care and operate medical equipment.
• Attend regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing with 1st division in 10th, 12th and graduation.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills, listening, team‑building and communication abilities.
• Initiative, coordination, moral support and a compassionate approach to patients.
• Basic computer literacy.
