Staff Nurse – Operation Theatre

About the role

KJK Hospital is seeking experienced staff nurses to join its Operation Theatre (OT) team. The role focuses on delivering safe, high‑quality nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures while collaborating closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other OT staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery and provide comprehensive peri‑operative nursing care.
• Set up and maintain a sterile OT environment, including instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist surgeons and anaesthetists as a scrub and circulating nurse for both minor and major surgeries.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and accurately document nursing care throughout the surgical process.
• Follow hospital protocols for infection control, patient safety, and OT documentation.

Required profile

• GNM or BSc Nursing with a valid registration (mandatory).
• Minimum three years of dedicated OT experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, OT equipment, and peri‑operative nursing practices.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
