About the role

Provide quality nursing care to patients in the General Department of a hospital in Hyderabad, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and health conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
• Assist doctors during consultations, procedures, and clinical activities.
• Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, and medical documentation.
• Observe patients closely and report any changes in their condition to the concerned doctor.
• Follow infection-control, hygiene, and patient-safety protocols.
• Educate patients and their attendants regarding basic care and treatment procedures.
• Handle and maintain medical equipment properly.
• Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and provide immediate nursing assistance.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the assigned department.
• Follow hospital policies, nursing standards, and professional ethics.
