Staff Nurse

About the role

The Staff Nurse provides direct patient care before, during, and after medical procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical standards. This role involves collaboration with doctors and healthcare teams to deliver high‑quality treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor patients before and after procedures and promptly report any changes.
• Maintain infection‑control and hygiene practices.
• Assist with wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and other nursing procedures.
• Educate patients and families about medications, treatments, and basic health care.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for effective patient care.
• Handle and maintain medical equipment according to hospital policies.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist in emergency procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Required profile

• Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure.
• CPR, ACLS, and BCLS certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to lift and position patients on an endoscopy stretcher and transport patients safely.
