Staff Nurse

About the role

V Care At Home is seeking a full‑time Staff Nurse to provide high‑quality in‑home care for patients in the Mohali district. The role involves direct patient interaction, clinical assessments, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and compassionate care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients’ health status, monitor vital signs and document findings.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, adhering to safety and infection‑control protocols.
• Develop, implement and update individualized nursing care plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on medication use, self‑care and preventive health measures.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using standard nursing formats.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Valid nursing registration/license as per local regulations.
• Experience in home‑based or community healthcare settings is preferred.
• Willingness to travel across locations within the Mohali district.
• Commitment to compassionate, dignified patient care and adherence to safety standards.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Medication administration.
• Patient assessment.
• Medical record documentation.
