Staff Nurse – Dialysis

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse specialized in dialysis to join our team at the Dialysis unit in Mahe. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care before, during and after dialysis sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dialysis treatment and ensure proper positioning.
• Monitor vital signs before, during and after the procedure.
• Operate and maintain dialysis machines safely.
• Administer prescribed medications and document administration.
• Observe and report patient responses, complications and any adverse events.
• Educate patients on dialysis care, hygiene and self‑care practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to infection‑control protocols.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients throughout their treatment.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Required profile

• B.Sc. Nursing degree.
• 2‑4 years of clinical experience, preferably in dialysis or renal care.
• Strong empathy, critical‑thinking and communication abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety and infection‑control standards.

Required skills

• Operation and maintenance of dialysis machines.
