Staff Mobile Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced mobile technical leader to architect and drive SPAN’s mobile solutions. Our mobile apps are the key to unlocking the potential of the SPAN panel for our users by giving them insights and never‑before‑available control.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and drive technical direction for SPAN’s mobile architecture.
• Design, implement, and test features in our React Native apps.
• Partner with firmware, backend, QA, and platform teams to ensure seamless integration, robust quality, and reliable deployments.
• Grow the team’s knowledge through pair programming, code reviews, presentations, and documentation.
• Lead architectural best‑practice definition ahead of major migrations and scalability efforts.

Required profile

• 8+ years building and shipping user‑facing applications used by large audiences.
• 5+ years of mobile app or React web development, preferably with React Native.
• Strong TypeScript experience.
• Unshakable practices around Test‑Driven Development.
• Experience collaborating closely with design on shared components and design ecosystems.
• Industry best practices around CI/CD for testing and deployments.
• Feature‑flagging strategy and best practices for iterative development.
• Outcomes‑oriented communication and collaboration skills.
