Staff Engineer

About the role

The Staff Engineer will design and implement complex cloud‑based and web applications within a defined software architecture. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with global and local development teams to deliver secure, robust, and user‑friendly solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure Windows, cloud, and web applications.
• Participate in technical discussions and produce component‑level and subsystem designs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate REST/SOAP APIs and ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability standards.
• Maintain and support existing applications, applying Agile practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience designing and developing complex software systems.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Azure cloud development.
• Experience in regulated environments, preferably medical device software development.

Required skills

• C#, ASP.NET MVC.NET.NET Core, Web/REST API, Windows Services.
• Front‑end development with React.js, Angular/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Redux.
• Entity Framework, GIT, PowerShell, unit testing tools (e.g., NUnit, SonarCube).
• CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards such as FHIR, HL7, DICOM (a plus).
