Staff Data Scientist

About the role

The Staff Data Scientist will translate stakeholder requirements into AI and data science solutions, driving real‑world business impact across functions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and propose machine‑learning opportunities with key stakeholders.
• Build and deliver presentations that explain findings and recommendations.
• Automate data‑preparation, feature‑engineering, and model‑monitoring pipelines using AI‑driven tools.
• Explore and integrate large language models and generative AI to accelerate analysis and reporting.
• Partner with engineering teams to operationalize models and embed automation into core products.
• Continuously evaluate model performance with automated monitoring, retraining, and alerting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics or related field; Master's or PhD preferred.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and flag project risks.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Python.
• Experience with AI automation platforms and cloud tools (Power BI, Azure, Fabric).
• Knowledge of statistical techniques such as time‑series modelling, classification, and computer vision.
• Familiarity with large language models and generative AI solutions.
