Sr Security Engineer

About the role

Kobie’s India Tech Hub is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to help build a robust, enterprise‑grade security posture across its cloud‑native platforms. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps and operations teams to embed security into every layer of our products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security controls for cloud infrastructure, applications and network environments.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and threat modeling to identify and remediate risks.
• Monitor security events using SIEM tools, investigate incidents and drive timely remediation.
• Partner with Cloud Engineering and DevOps to embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and IaC workflows.
• Support development and enforcement of security policies, standards and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, NIST CSF and PCI‑DSS.
• Lead or contribute to incident response activities, including root‑cause analysis and post‑incident reviews.
• Implement and manage IAM controls, least‑privilege enforcement, privileged access management and conditional access policies.
• Evaluate third‑party security tools, perform vendor risk assessments and review end‑user applications for security compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cloud security and enterprise‑level security engineering.
• Strong background in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing and threat modeling.
• Hands‑on experience with security incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, NIST CSF, PCI‑DSS) and security automation.
