Sr Material Handler

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Material Handler to manage inbound and outbound shipments for clinical study materials. The role supports global customers by ensuring accurate receipt, distribution, and return of study supplies while adhering to SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Acknowledge shipments to clients according to study plans.
• Prepare and submit timely reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate site‑to‑site transfers and monitor delivery expectations.
• Handle receipt, distribution, and return shipments to the FCS facility.
• Maintain documentation and records in GPM and CT WIN systems, following SOPs and physical inventory procedures.
• Generate disposition reports and destruction certificates as required.
• Respond to client communications within 24 hours.
• Archive all related documents per protocol and nomenclature.
• Perform project‑specific and cross‑functional activities after receiving appropriate training.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; degrees such as B Pharm, B Sc, M.Sc., B Com, MBA, B BA are accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in distribution, warehouse, or supply‑chain environments.
• Preferred experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers, forklifts) and working in a cGMP setting.

Required skills

• Operation of powered industrial trucks (order pickers, forklifts).
• Understanding of cGMP regulations.
• Proficiency with computer operating systems.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience using GPM and CT WIN inventory systems.
