Sr. HR Business Partner

About the role

Amazon is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and curious Senior HR Business Partner to join the People Experience and Technology (PXT) team supporting Retail Business Services in India. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and driving people‑focused solutions that enable business growth and exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with VPs and Directors to design and implement people strategies that improve organizational effectiveness and align with business goals.
• Interpret people metrics, monitor risks through business reviews, and recommend inclusive solutions.
• Leverage Amazon’s org‑design tools to create structures that strengthen culture and decision‑making.
• Assess senior‑leader talent needs, develop pipelines, and provide coaching to enhance leadership capabilities.
• Identify trends and hotspots through listening mechanisms, and lead change‑management initiatives to de‑risk the business.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in HR business partnering, preferably within large, fast‑moving organizations.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and translate business strategy into HR actions.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting people data and metrics.
• Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, talent planning, and change management.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, with a focus on inclusive leadership.
