Sr Associate - Transaction Services

About the role

With experience from thousands of transactions, Riveron’s Transaction Services team provides insightful analysis, thorough planning, and impactful execution throughout the deal lifecycle. The role supports executives in making informed M&A decisions by identifying risks and opportunities unique to each transaction.

Key responsibilities

• Apply financial acumen and GAAP knowledge to assist clients on financial, operational, and tax issues related to M&A transactions.
• Conduct and review research and analysis of financial and accounting matters for target companies.
• Prepare quality‑of‑earnings, networking‑capital, and cash‑flow analyses for buy‑side and sell‑side deals.
• Participate in executive management interviews with target companies.
• Draft sections of reports, presentations, and other client‑facing deliverables.
• Collaborate with project teams to manage workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including formulas such as SUMIF, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards.
• Professional certifications: CPA, Chartered Accountant, or MBA in Finance.
