About the role
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer who will analyse, design, code and test multiple components of application code for our clients. The role involves maintenance, enhancements and new development work, with a strong focus on Spring Boot and Amazon Web Services.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a subject‑matter expert and lead technical decisions for the team.
- Collaborate with and manage the team to deliver high‑quality software.
- Engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions and provide cross‑team solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and give constructive feedback.
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Participate in architectural discussions and propose improvements.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 years of experience working with Spring Boot.
- At least 3 years of overall professional experience.
- 15 years of full‑time education.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Spring Boot.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong Java programming skills.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
