About the role
PwC’s Internal Audit Services team in Mumbai is seeking a Specialist to conduct concurrent and bank audits. You will work on evaluating bank processes, controls and compliance with RBI regulations across trade finance, treasury, credit, KYC and remittances.
Key responsibilities
- Execute review of bank processes and controls, covering trade finance, treasury, credit, KYC and remittances.
- Ensure adherence to RBI regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
- Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies and instances of non‑compliance.
- Draft issues with clear articulation of risk and recommendations.
- Maintain adequate workpapers of test procedures to meet quality standards.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of banking operations and RBI regulatory environment.
- Experience in internal audit or process audit of banks, especially in trade finance, treasury, credit, KYC and remittances.
- Analytical thinking with attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS‑Office.
- Ability to document findings and propose root‑cause recommendations.
